Follow These 8 Behaviours to Ensure Success as an Entrepreneur!

What is the secret? How do the wealthy do it? I’m sure you, like me, have tried numerous ways of making money – but to no avail. After much research and actual success myself, I have discovered 8 behaviours of the wealthy mindset – that if followed, will give you success in whatever you put your mind to! Follow these and you will be a successful entrepreneur in no time!

DELVE INTO THE MINDS OF THE WEALTHY – Write down the values and beliefs of the entrepreneurs you admire or hope to be as successful as, and simply adjust yours to be the same. Another great idea is to actually find a local successful entrepreneur and ask if you can have a coffee with them to ‘pick their brain’ so to speak. Obviously compliment them, and then explain why you admire them so and ask if it is possible that they would share a few lessons to help you on your way to success. If you can’t do that, read the biographies of people like Richard Branson, or Donald Trump and learn that way. Replicate success – and that is what you will get, copy the behaviours of the lazy, and that is also what you will get! Which do you want?

VISUALISE – This may seem a bit odd at first, you may feel like you are day dreaming but it works. The mind can’t differentiate between what is real and what isn’t. For example, if you held a banana in your hand and looked at it – then put it down, closed your eyes and imagined you were holding a banana – the same neurons in the brain fire off. Visualise success on a daily basis and eventually the mind believes it is real and replicates your subconscious behaviours to ensure that it does happen.

GOALS – When driving your car, do you first think of where it is you want to go? That is right, you need a desired destination before driving. This is the same when becoming a successful entrepreneur. You need a desired outcome. What is very important is to actually write these goals down, and be specific. Write them in the present tense so, like with visualising; your subconscious mind believes it has happened. Don’t stress about HOW you are going to get there, this will come, just make sure you have the destination written down.

DAILY ACTIVITIES THAT PRODUCE PROFITS – Obvious, I know – but even I am guilty for being distracted by non-income producing activities! The best thing you can do is to sit down and write up the actual tasks that bring in money – whether it be marketing calls, placing an ad or even having a meeting with clients. Once you have your list of direct income making activities, do at least 1 -2 of them EVERYDAY.

EXPECTATION – Expect that you will be successful. This again helps the unconscious mind to replicate what it is hearing / seeing. If it has an expectation of being a success, then it will do everything it needs to to for fill this truth.

ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE – Focusing on what you have, will only attract more to what you have. Focusing on what you don’t have, will attract more of the feeling of lack. Whenever you start feeling that you are focusing on being broke, or on not having enough – stop, and write down ten things you are grateful for. This will shift the energy that you are sending out and help you to re-focus. The more positive you are, you start to notice more positive things and attract more of what you want.

IMMERSE IN SELF-DEVELOPMENT – The true successful entrepreneurs are ALWAYS learning, always evolving. The more you grow inside, the more you will grow in business, finances and so on. Plug yourself into self-development courses regularly to learn.

PERSEVERANCE – Commitment and perseverance is key to surviving obstacle and actually arriving at your goal. Vow now that you will never give up until your goals are achieved. With commitment like that, you have no other choice but to succeed, not matter what is thrown in front of you.
